Very late to the game, but in case anyone else is reading later on: the Australian Computing Academy have a handful of courses for microbits (free for year 5-8) on the grok learning platform; both python and block-language are available.
I have used them for a few years, and the best resource I have found is throught he Microsoft Makecode system at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/makecode
Not only does it have tutorials and small projects that enable students to learn Microbit, but is have an online GUI that is fantastic. The site also deals with other common tech that are in schools including Minecraft coding.
