The Digital Technologies Hub is an incredibly useful free resource for supporting teaching and learning. The Hub features lesson ideas, resources, activities and explorations of many aspects of the Digital Technologies curriculum.

In this free session you will be taken through the resources available and see how they can be used in practical ways in the classroom. You will be guided through some activities and challenges by STEM educator John Pearce, and get the chance to use some great  digital technologies and coding tools. There will even be some robots.

This free event will be run after school from 4.15pm-6.15pm. The venue is Koroit and District Primary School, Koroit.

Light refreshments will also be provided.

Presenter information:

Having spent more than thirty years teaching in primary schools John Pearce now tutors at Deakin University.

John’s ongoing interest in both science and the use of ICT across the curriculum has seen him present at local, national and international conferences. Lately he has become interested in digital curriculum including coding and Makerspaces.
