VR and AR for Secondary Digital Technologies

  • Staff from participating schools in the Digitech Start-up Initiative can attend this event for free.

    All applications will be cross-checked against the participating schools database, so please ensure that you provide your school name on sign-up.

This event will bring together teachers and education experts to explore ways that Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are involved in creating to address the Digital Technologies curriculum for Secondary Years.


Participants will:

  • get hands-on with beginner coding to create VR environments and games (CoSpaces),
  • dive deeper with professional game development tools (Unity),
  • see and hear about student VR projects,
  • try virtual design tools like TiltBrush,
  • experience current classroom technologies for VR and AR.

Presenters will include:

Tony Vallance - Learning Specialist / STEM Coordinator at Lilydale High School

Magdi Ghobrial - Digital Technologies Coordinator at Mount Alexander College
