Part of our Digital Technologies F-10 webinar series, this session will explore the possibilities for coding in the Science curriculum.
Using ready-made interactives and simulations, participants will identify how science concepts and skills can be taught through free coding software and inexpensive robotics. The webinar will lead participants through the purpose and motivation for teaching coding in the science curriculum, with examples and definitions of key terms that are linked to the secondary science curriculum. Participants will leave with ideas for curating resources, setting tasks for students, and creating their own coded simulations for use in their science classroom.
