Learning from anywhere: Designing a seamless hybrid learning experience

  • 16 May 2022
  • 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Google Melbourne Office, Level 1, 161 Collins St, Melbourne

Registration

Please note, this workshop has been cancelled, and may be rescheduled in webinar format. As schools continue to struggle with CRT shortages, we are experiencing lower than usual registrations for face-to-face events.

Part of our Back to Professional Learning Together series, this 2:30 - 4:30pm afternoon workshop is for teachers able to dip their toes back into face-to-face PL in Term Two 2022.

Join local education leads from Google at their Melbourne Office where they will share the structures that they are exploring at Google to enable seamless hybrid learning experiences.

Schools in Victoria are back to face-to-face learning, however there are many key strategies we all learned and want to take forward to support learning from anywhere. From engaging with all learners, developing rich input and collaborative construction tasks, to assessment and metacognition, breaking down the range of learning that makes for a great hybrid experience. Join us to build out an example learning sequence live (think Masterchef with technology) and then challenge yourself to build out and share your own hybrid learning sequence.
